Nadia is an Arabic calligraphy and mosaic artist who turned a vision into a lifeline. While working on a mosaic piece, she was moved by the difficult conditions faced by Palestinian women in refugee camps in Lebanon. She set out to create not just art — but opportunity.
Each Lali Pali Crochet Kufiyya Purse begins as one of Nadia's original designs — researched, colored, and shaped with deep cultural meaning. These designs are then hand made by women in the camps, who work from home and earn a dignified income. The finished crochet is transformed into this statement bag through collaborations with local workshops.
The Kufiyya print is one of the most iconic symbols of Palestinian identity. Wearing it is an act of solidarity, pride, and love for a culture that refuses to be forgotten.
